Signal Hill* acted as the sole placement agent to Stream Data Centers in connection with equity funding received from Iron Point Partners (Iron Point) for its latest data center development in San Antonio, Texas. The proceeds will be used to fund a wholesale data center development in Westover Hills, a master-planned business park located in northwestern San Antonio. The site has access to two 300-megawatt substations and boasts high security and a robust fiber and power infrastructure. Centrally located in the southwestern U.S., San Antonio boasts an international airport, virtually no risk of natural disasters, a pro-business environment and competitive electricity pricing.
The Stream Private Data Center development in San Antonio is a single-story, purpose-built, 75,840-square-foot, structurally enhanced data center building designed to withstand 146 mph winds and uplift. The building is pre-engineered with conduits and pads in place to expand the power and cooling infrastructure up to 2,400 kilowatts of critical load power to each of the three 10,000-square-foot raised-floor Private Data Halls. The data center will be fully commissioned upon delivery. This build will be Stream Data Center’s second venture with Iron Point following its data center development in The Woodlands, located north of Houston, TX.
